UPDATE - OUR JOURNEY'S DETOUR

John is still heavily sedated and has developed pneumonia.  They did try to take him off the vent, but it was just too early.

On another note,I came home early today to catch a nap and to mow. Promptly hit a hidden rock and now mower needs repair.

Other than that.......everything is hunky dorey....

  4. Just take it one day at a time. Hopefully each day will be better than the last, and soon you'll be on the right track again.

I thank God I quit smoking when I did, so many people of our generation smoked since early teenage years, we didn't know then how bad it was for us. It's hard on you, and scary, but must be even more so for John. I'm glad you are there to watch over him.

  7. Nan,

We're sorry to see all the trouble that John is having, but he's where he needs to be where the treatment is readily available. Be strong for John and yourself, make sure you don't neglect yourself as you care for him. Count on our prayers, too!
