Our first appointments are July 7th. Who would have thought that in May, when we made our emergency return to Indianapolis for John's pacemaker that we would still be here until mid July!
So here we are in the heat and humidity of an Indiana summer that we were thrilled to escape just three years ago. BUT that means even more time with the kids and grands. There are blessings everywhere we look.
I THINK OUR JELLO JUST MELTED -A LITTLE!
Today, we interviewed the owner of the body shop where the Miata is going to be repaired. We looked at his work in progress and completed and are satisfied.
My baby will be repaired by the time we are ready to leave for the northwest.
Many thanks to those who ordered through the Amazon link near the top right side of the blog.
I hope that you all are keeping cool and not being pestered by the nasty mosquitoes.
Until next time, God bless!
I like Jello :)
ReplyDeleteJello makes us flexible....
DeleteAlways expect the jell-o to melt.
ReplyDeleteBut can be re-jelled into another plan.
DeleteThanks for the update. Nice to hear all is well and your baby will be fixed very soon.
ReplyDeleteYep, looking forward to having baby pretty, once more
DeleteThings are coming around and soon you be back on the road again.
ReplyDeleteKeep cool there.
Each day is a day closer!
DeleteThis may sound weird, but it's wonderful that John is anywhere three years after his brush with death. Your wheels will be rolling again soon.
ReplyDeleteMerikay, you are soooo right.
DeleteI don't want to talk about mosquitoes. They've been awful!
ReplyDeleteI could not agree more, Judy.
DeleteOh no .... the saga in Indianapolis just continues. However, like you said, at least you're with family and there's a lot good to be said about that. You're heading northwest when this is behind you?
ReplyDeleteThis saga is almost laughable. Every time we come here, something comes up to slow our exit. But, yesterday we were with Holly and grands, Lucy and Ross....priceless
DeleteOh boy, I hope it's just a minor tune up but I sympathize with Indiana in the summer. I did 18 Ohio summers before I escaped.
ReplyDeleteIt is. Nothing like the original surgery. Marti Dahl had to do the same thing. We were surprised that it was both of us and both eyes.
DeleteAt least this tune-up didn't require a mad dash across country! Nice to get everything taken care of in one spot before getting back on the road. The best time of year in the PNW is August and September anyway :-).
ReplyDeleteat least the time with the kiddos and grands helps. . .right?
ReplyDeleteyou betcha!
DeleteBut you'll be able to see much clearer now and pick the right color Jello... :cD
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so. Right now, seeing halos.
DeleteGlad things are looking better for your upcoming escape. I so admire your taking time to comment on my blog. I read each one, and I will just never have the gumption to be as thoughtful. Blessings...
