Everything has been completed other than loading the car onto the trailer. John is just too tired and we will postpone our departure until tomorrow morning.
I had things ready to roll by two o'clock, but it is not worth risking John's health just to meet a goal. Some goals need to be adjusted and this is one.
We have until the Saturday prior to Christmas to be in San Diego. There is no rush, so I am going to get my spinning wheel out and spin up some more yarn!
Sounds like a goofd plan to me!
ReplyDeleteSpinning yarn and keeping busy is a good way to pass the take until "take off".
ReplyDeleteGood decision. San Diego will be there when you arrive.
ReplyDeleteGood move. His health is the number one concern. So bright and early you can get up and head on out with everybody rested up.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing John is listening to his body. He has had so much this year, he needs to take things very easy. Do you drive the rig also? You should insist on doing most of the driving. He may not want you to, but being behind the wheel is stressful and he doesn't need any extra'
ReplyDeleteSafe travels.
Now you're talking. John's health comes first. A one day delay is nothing. You're safe tonight and have been spinning, but not out of control! ;)
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to mention a possibility. I suffered from a rapid heart beat also. 5-6 times a year I would have to go to ER for a treatment and would be then ok for a while.
One of the ER Dr's told me about RF Ablation and I could have a loose node causing the missfire. I went to the Arrhythmia Clinic and they scheduled the procedure. They go in through the artery in the groin and up into the heart and look for these nodes. They can actually stimuulate the node and start the Arrhythmia, then they carterise the node.
Hope he gets better.
Mike
